Kotak Mahindra Bank introduced the ‘Health to the Power Infinity’ initiative in April 2020, mainly to allow employees to combat the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting health and overall well-being. “To achieve a holistic wellbeing of employees, the initiative is divided into four pillars – ‘Physical, Emotional, Financial and Social’,” said the bank in a statement, further noting “Each pillar dives into a specific part of health and wellness to assist Kotakites in their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.”
Private lender Kotak Mahindra Bank introduced a fitness allowance for employees, as part of its ‘Health to the Power Infinity’ initiative. The lender said the allowance would be implemented from December 1, 2020, and employees availing the benefit would be required to share their fitness goals. The lender also announced a remote working allowance, which it said would make work from home (WFH) “more comfortable and productive.”“The new normal has brought with it a unique set of challenges. In a work-from-home environment, it’s been seen that work-life balance is getting impacted, and we give utmost importance to employee wellbeing – physical and emotional, always,” said Sukhjit Pasricha, President & Group Chief Human Resource Officer, Kotak Mahindra Bank.
